Job Status – Live

Innovation Productions are looking for a proactive Operations Coordinator. This role would suit a candidate with reasonable knowledge of the technical side of the event and theatre industry, who is perhaps looking to spend less time on site or looking to progress to be a project manager. Or someone with similar operational experience from another sector. The role would include,

  • Quoting for hires and sales.

  • Scheduling of crew and vehicles

  • Issuing of invoices

  • Stocktaking

  • Logging of staff hours

  • Entry of expenses

  • Checking Supplier Invoices

  • Packaging and dispatching orders

  • Technical Support

  • Administrative support

  • Ensuring Business Compliance

The role will also develop to involve

  • Production of Technical drawings and renders

  • Quoting support for Events and Installations

  • Booking of Hotels

  • Booking of Crew

  • Purchasing of equipment and spares

Necessary Skills,

  • Strong IT skills

  • Good Communication Skills

  • Well Organised

  • Excellent Technical Knowledge

  • Smart and professional manner

Optional skills

  • Driving License,

  • Comfortable to drive a 3.5 ton van,

Salary:

  • The full time rate for this position is £25000 – £26400. We could consider a young trainee starter with a salary of £21600. Employment is based on 37.5 hours per week. With 28 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank holidays). – We are also open to offering this position as part time.

Location

  • Based at our Barnsley Headquarters

Hours of Work

  • The intended hours for this position are rotated around business demand, where possible for this role we try to keep as many hours as possible within 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, but occasional on-site hours and some weekend / evening work could form part of this role.
